Hilltop Beer from Erie Pa, defeated Loss Prevention Services in the finals. They went undefeated. This was Pennsylvania’s first attempt at a 35 and Over State Tournament. Although only attended by 4 teams (Hilltop, Loss Prevention, No Off Season, Bachelors II), it was quite a success due to the quality of the teams and the fact that it was played a a new facility owned by the sponsor of “No Off Season” in Culmersville Pa.
The facility boast a full astro turf infield plus an indoor facility that can hold a full size softball game. The owner is in the process of building a second field. I am considering hooking up with a 35 and over team just to play there. I know there are many 35 and over leagues around. With some advance notice we are confident we will get at least 8 teams next year.
