Queens Xpress from Long Island New York went 6- 0 in the prestigious Blue Water Invitational July 5 – 7th. They defeated Secory Flyers in the championship game. Manny Saracens was outstanding as the main pitcher for Queens Xpress. This tournament had 8 teams with 2 Pools of 4. So you are guaranteed 4 games. Excellent format especially for teams that travel a distance to the tournament. You play each team in your “pool”, (3 games). Then seeding is determined from the record within each pool. You then proceed to play teams from the other Pool (1 plays 4, 2 plays 3). Single elimination.
