The USA won the first annual 10-man World Series of softball hosted by the Roberto Clemente Softball League in Lancaster Pa (Conlin field). Four teams participated – Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico and USA. The USA went 3-0 in a double elimination format Dominican Republic went 2-2 followed by Puerto Rico & Cuba. Players where from surrounding counties Lancaster, York, Lebanon & Reading.
