LCBC Men of Iron from the Lancaster Fundamental Church League defeated Chester Springs Community Church from the Country Church softball League in the finals 6-5. Great game. LCBC was able to push across the winning run in the bottom of the 7th. LCBC went undefeated. They have a true balance of Pitching, Defense and Hitting. Chester Springs defeated Lewistown Valley in the finals of the loser bracket 9 – 7. Congratulations to all participants for a well played tournament. It is especially nice to see good young pitchers (100% legal) in the game. The tournament was played at the West Chester Pa Sports Complex. With 300 foot fences, wind blowing in, and bat testing done, I only saw 1 Home Run hit over the fence. Several in the parkers, but only one over the fence.
