Wrist (9 - Man)

The ball IS allowed to be outside of the wrist resulting in the thumb pointing up and palm facing third base for a right handed pitcher (first base for a left handed pitcher). A Right Handed 9-Man style pitcher rotates the humereus in the shoulder socket in a clockwise direction on the back swing (turning the door knob).

 The Humereus rotates clockwise (turning the door knob) to allow the arm to go above a 90 degree angle of the hip to shoulder
